How to play against the computer in the idChess mobile application
In this article, we will tell you how to play against the computer in the idChess mobile application.
Starting from the 4.3.0 version of the idChess mobile app there is the mode for playing against the computer. To try it, click “Start the game” on the main page of the idChess mobile app.
Decide on a thematic set of a computer character. The People pack presents heroes with different types of activities: from Athlete to Sensei; the Animals. Africa set — chess lovers with tails and feathers; in the Knights set — fairy-tale characters. Engines vary in difficulty levels: you can choose an opponent with a rating from 400 to 1000 (with a subscription — up to 2500).
How to set game settings?
After selecting the computer, go to the page with its description and game statistics. Select the color of your pieces. If necessary, enable hints and use them at any time.
• Save your game video to the list of all your games in the app;
• Choose another opponent for the next game;
• Analyze the game using the Stockfish 15+ engine. When you select this option, the Analysis section opens, where you can consider alternative moves and evaluate your positions, comparing them with the best options proposed by the engine;
• Share the game video in PGN or GIF formats on social networks;
• Customize the board: choose the design of pieces and the format of notation.
