How to start a tournament on live.idchess.com?

Log in to your account on the live.idchess.com platform. Next, click “Create tournament” in the upper right corner.

• Moving on to the process of filling in the tournament data, enter details in the “Tournament name”, “Dates” and “Time” fields.

• If the tournament takes place in several days, then choose the appropriate period. To do this, in the calendar click the date of the beginning of the tournament and then the date of its end.

• Next, choose the time rounds start and the address of the event. In the tournament description, you can specify the conditions for the tournament.

• If necessary, set a broadcast delay in half-moves in order to prevent cheating.

• If you need to display game results, add a chess-results link in the “Link to tournament details” field.

• Enable automatic setting of the result when checkmate, so that the result of the game when checkmate is placed on the board is automatically set. The game broadcast and the players’ time will be stopped.

You can limit the permission to connect devices to the tournament: set a password. Then, when connecting your phone to the broadcast, you will need to enter the password in addition to the tournament ID and board number. You can also make the broadcast private: the tournament will be available only via a direct link.

Create the first round by clicking “Create first round” and connect your devices to the broadcast.
